So, 2016 is finally over and with that It’s also over my first year with sciencebabies on tumblr. This has been an hard year for most of us i guess, I’ve had a lot of fear because of things that happened in the world and right beside me. However, In those months I’ve always find here a place full of love and full of beautiful people who always had sweet words for me.
I am so shy, so I have never spoken with most of you and maybe you don’t even know who’s tagging you on this post but if you’re here is because I have always admired you and look up to you. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. This fandom is full of talented people who can do really great things but most of all have a great heart and I really wanted to wish you an amazing year because you deserve pure and endless happiness. I hope life gives you everything you need.
I also want to thank everyone who spent a second of their life reblogging, liking or answering my posts. And to those who become even my friends. Thank you thank you thank you you are precious. You always made my day and made me incredibly happy. I’ll always be grateful to have met you in this life.

I'm Nikki and I'm kinda wrestling with my sexuality but I don't care if I'm shipped with a girl or guy! I love science and space. I love to go out on my roof at nights and just look at constellations and see if I can identify them by heart. Science has always been a part of my life since I was young and the more I learn the more I love it! I'm also a tennis player and I play pretty much every day for two or three hours. I'm a total dork and talkative but can shy away from people I don't know!

how u met: you started out on a buzzfeed article about new high definition pictures of jupiter’s surface, and from there began digging yourself deeper and deeper into science through various internet links, as any typical web user occasionally finds themselves doing. when you came across an advertisement that offered a free workshop with some of the most widely recognized scientists of our day, you figured it couldn’t hurt to apply. when you were one of the lucky winners, you thought that this opportunity could not get any better. then you came to the workshop, and dr. banner was there. you found yourself conversing with him often, as you had the same interests and perspectives. sure, jane goodall was nice, but bruce banner was a catch.
why u love each other: you can totally dork out on each other. it’s in the moments where you start to talk about some dorky passion that he looks at you with real love in his eyes (u kno the look). he had tony stark commission the creation of a high-tech telescope just for you to take out onto your roof, to see all the stars as best as you can. you get along with all of his friends - steve rogers is really good at tennis, oddly - and you promised never to bring up that time he had a thing with black widow. you’re pretty much best friends.
Team Biochem’s Members of the Week Week 7 (July 4-10)
Each week, we’ll be highlighting two or three members of Team Biochem, as well as one of our favorite E v B fanworks of theirs. This is a completely informal event, but we thought this would be a great way to point out a couple of our fantastic team members. If you don’t see your name this week, don’t worry! @agent-85: If you’ve been in the FitzSimmons fandom for any considerable length of time, then you’ve undoubtedly had the pleasure of seeing some of Jane’s writing. After all, she’s written over 75 stories on AO3 alone, and she has no intention of stopping! With her 52 stories in 52 weeks, Jane has taken it upon herself to write a story for every week of the year - which is pretty spectacular, if you ask us! In addition to being stellar with words, Jane is also an incredibly sweet person. An anon once told her that she’s a “beautiful cinnamon roll too good for this world, too pure, & too FitzSimmons,” and the description is spot-on. Her values give her an integrity that is often a rare find, especially on Tumblr, and her sweetness and support of others is definitely appreciated. The FitzSimmons fandom - and Team Biochem! - is a better place with Jane.

This super fun adventure puts YOU, the reader, in Daisy’s position as she attempts to ensure that FitzSimmons end up together. @fitzsimmmonns: While we have many talented writers on the team, among our most talented giffers is Nikki! Throughout the E v B challenge, Nikki has created so many beautiful gifsets, all of which have blown us away. Her coloring is spectacular (we need her to teach us her ways), the quotes she uses are scarily applicable to FitzSimmons, and the scenes she chooses to juxtapose make our heart swell with feels. But making gorgeous gifsets is not the full extent of Nikki’s awesomeness. She’s also an exceptionally supportive team member - reblogging fandom creations, adding lovely comments and tags, and just being an all-around great person to have on the team. We can’t wait to see what she creates next!
Our Fanwork Fave: Ineffable. This gifset, showcasing just some of the many time FitzSimmons have communicated without words, completely took our breath away. The moments she chose to include are some of the most iconic FS wordless moments, but there are also a few rare ones peppered throughout. This gifset really emphasizes the importance of the FitzSimmons relationship. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you definitely should!
@recoveringrabbit: Amongst the throngs of brilliant writers in this fandom, Rabbit truly gifts us all with her amazing works, both short and long (which, hey, you won’t see any of us eager fans complaining)! In addition to her fabulous creations, she’s a true supporter of everyone in the fandom and always adds the nicest comments. Rabbit is a pleasure to have on our team and an absolute beauty to this entire fandom. We are so grateful for all that she does!

so another year around the sun means another one of these. i can’t believe that i’ve been on this website for over six years now. i’ve seen fandoms bloom and float away with the wind. i have been a part of many different fandoms, but i honestly love each and every person that i’m following right now. if you’ve been following me for more than a week you probably realized how picky i can be, so seriously check out everyone on my blogroll. oh and that graphic up there pretty much sums me up as certified marvel trash™.
